Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced RN to join our endoscopy team. You will prepare patients, monitor during procedures, and support recovery with a focus on safety and high-quality care.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS preferred, and 1–2 years in endoscopy or perioperative settings. Strong assessment skills, patient education, and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 1–2 years of endoscopy, procedural, perioperative, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with sedation, GI procedures, and post-procedure recovery is preferred.
• Active RN license required; BLS certification required; ACLS certification required or preferred depending on patient population and facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including reviewing medical history and required documentation.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygenation, cardiac rhythm, and patient response before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, sedation, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist physicians and the endoscopy team during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Recognize and respond promptly to complications, adverse reactions, and changes in patient condition.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, discharge instructions, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and endoscopy standards.
