Job summary

Advocate Health in Concord, NC seeks a skilled Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit at AH Cabarrus Endoscopy. You will support patients through pre-op, intra-procedure, sedation, recovery, and discharge, collaborating with GI physicians and anesthesia providers.

This full-time role requires a nursing program completion, an active RN license in NC, and BLS certification; endoscopy or critical care experience is preferred. Weekend or holiday call may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, Emergency Department or ICU experience strongly preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
