Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center Endoscopy in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support endoscopy procedures. This part-time role (24 hours/week) includes early morning shifts and one annual holiday on-call, with coverage for second-call weeks twice yearly.

Qualified candidates have an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and preferably endoscopy/ICU/ER or procedural care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Endoscopy, ICU, ER, Critical Care, PACU or Procedural Care experience is strongly preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
