Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Union Endoscopy unit in Monroe, NC. This part-time role involves assisting in the endoscopy procedure flow, perioperative care, and post-procedure recovery in a hospital setting and ambulatory center.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferred endoscopy or procedural care experience. Call may be required as part of this PRN position.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
