Job summary

Advocate Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse for its Cabarrus Endoscopy unit in Concord, NC. This full-time role involves caring for inpatients and outpatients through pre-op, intra-procedure, sedation, recovery, and discharge phases, in a collaborative GI-focused environment.

The position requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in North Carolina, and BLS certification. Endoscopy/PACU/ICU experience is preferred. Weekend/holidays call is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Endoscopy, PACU, CCU, Emergency Department or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to ensure a safe patient environment and best patient experience.
