Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized and specialized nursing care in the endoscopy center, following physician orders and state regulations. The role involves planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care with minimal supervision, and may require travel to a sister center.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, have GI endoscopy experience, and are BLS certified; ACLS is recommended.

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• Membership in GI specialty or other professional societies encouraged.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required; ACLS recommended.
• Airway Management Module completed prior to IV conscious sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in the endoscopy center.
• Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Maintain self-direction and independence with minimal supervision.
• May travel to a sister center.
