Job summary

SSM Health in Wisconsin is seeking a nursing professional to provide direct care in the GI Lab, following established policies and procedures.

You will implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and support discharge planning. On-site day shift; on-call weekends and holidays as described.

No experience required; RN licensure in Wisconsin and BLS HCP are required; part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.
• BLS HCP (AHA) and RN licensure in IL, MO, OK, or WI under compact-state rules.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Applies evidence-based practice to nursing care based on patient needs.
• Adheres to professional nursing standards and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
