Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for the Endoscopy Services department in Durham, NC. The RN will provide professional nursing care for GI and Pulmonary procedures, monitor patients, and collaborate with a surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Required: ACLS certification and at least one year of RN experience. Preferred: 2+ years RN experience and moderate sedation experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required.
• Preferred: 2+ years RN experience and moderate sedation experience.
• BSN degree required; RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Twelve months of clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Assess, prepare, and monitor patients undergoing GI or pulmonary procedures.
• Provide bedside nursing care and respond to changes in patient condition during procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgical technicians and physicians.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
