Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited BSN or ADN program; BSN encouraged for new hires.
• Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina; if from another compact state, NC licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience required; manager may consider 6 months for exceptional performers.
• BLS required.

Aufgaben

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
• Assist other nursing personnel; act as team leader or charge nurse as assigned.
• Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain care environment and resources.
• Support professional development and maintain competencies; seek education opportunities.
• Act as preceptor and support development of staff and learners.
• Identify opportunities for clinical or operational performance improvement.
