Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a part‑time Endoscopy RN to support the GI Lab. You will assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, monitor patients, perform post‑procedure care, and ensure safety and infection control. Flexible hours with occasional call and weekend shifts are included.

The role emphasizes patient education, coordination with the care team, and maintaining high standards of clinical practice in a busy lab environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with current state licensure.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in endoscopy nursing or procedural care preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in endoscopy settings.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and chart findings.
• Support PreOp and Recovery areas in Endoscopy Lab.
• Administer meds, monitor vitals, and respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and aftercare.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
