Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital in Tucson, AZ, is hiring a Part Time Endoscopy RN to provide patient-centered nursing care before, during, and after GI procedures. You’ll assist in endoscopy with physician, monitor and educate patients, and coordinate care across PreOp, PACU, and recovery areas.

You’ll bring 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience, state RN licensure, BCLS and ACLS. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, infection control, and teamwork in a fast-paced GI Lab.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure required
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in Endoscopy/GI Lab following nursing process
• Assists physicians during endoscopic procedures and pre/post care
• Monitors vitals, administers medications, and documents care
• Performs room preparation, sterilization, and equipment checks
• Educates patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions
• Maintains infection control and safety standards in unit
• Documents care thoroughly in medical records
• Participates in audits and quality improvement initiatives
