Job summary

Northwest Medical Center is seeking an RN for GI Lab Endoscopy per diem days to coordinate, conduct, and evaluate patient care within the endoscopy suite. The RN will assess patients, prepare them for procedures, monitor vitals, administer medications, and support physicians during procedures.

Responsibilities include post-procedure care, patient education, instrument sterilization, and adherence to safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• RN license required with active state licensure.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in acute care or endoscopy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per the nursing process.
• Administer medications and document administration.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and post-procedure care.
