Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy center in Marietta, GA. The RN Endoscopy will provide individualized nursing care under physician orders, plan, execute, and evaluate care, and maintain professional standards throughout the patient’s journey.

Travel to a sister center may be required. The role requires active Georgia RN licensure, nursing degree, and preferred GI endoscopy experience; ACLS/BLS credentials are expected or recommended, with independence and sound

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• GI endoscopy experience preferred.
• GI society membership encouraged.
• BLS certification maintained; ACLS recommended.
• Airway Management Module completion required before IV conscious sedation. 100% on conscious sedation module post-test.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients in the endoscopy center per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care; maintain contact with patients at each stage of the procedure.
• Demonstrate self-direction and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• May travel to a sister center as needed.
