Job summary

United Digestive in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in endoscopy to provide individualized nursing care within the center, following physician orders and hospital policy. The candidate must hold an active RN license in Georgia and graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Experience in GI endoscopy is preferred; BLS is required, ACLS recommended; completion of Airway Management Module is required before IV conscious sedation; travel to sister center may be required.

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• ACLS certification is recommended, but optional.
• Completion of Airway Management Module is required prior to administering IV conscious sedation.
• Score of 100% on conscious sedation module post-test.
• Membership in GI specialty societies encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
