Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Endoscopy center in Georgia. You will provide individualized nursing care per physician orders and manage patient care through all phases of the visit.

The role requires an active Georgia RN license, nursing school graduation, BLS certification, and preferred GI endoscopy experience. ACLS is recommended, and occasional travel to a sister center may be required.

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ACLS certification is recommended, but optional.
• Completion of Airway Management Module is required prior to administering IV conscious sedation. Score of 100% on conscious sedation module post-test.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care in the endoscopy center per physician orders.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for patients across all phases of their visit.
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• May travel to a sister center.
