You will evaluate patients before surgery, educate families, and ensure prep work including IV therapy and medication administration is carried out safely.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required.
• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education for peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site briefings, time-outs, and debriefings.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies with evidence-based care.
