Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients, using critical thinking and strong communication.

You will administer Moderate Sedation, support monitored anesthesia care and participate in anesthesia cases. This role requires teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes at a level II trauma center.

Formación

• Nursing degree at Bachelors or Associates preferred; Nursing Diploma acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED required only if Nursing Diploma graduate.
• Current Virginia RN license and CPR/BLS; ACLS within 180 days.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients in Endoscopy Unit.
• Administer Moderate Sedation and monitor anesthesia care; circulate during general anesthesia.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to non-professional staff to ensure patient safety.
• Document care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
