Job summary

Qualifications

• Pre-procedure assessments including medical history, vital signs, allergies and current medications.
• Educate patients about the procedure, sedation, preparation requirements and aftercare instructions.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained, signed and documented.
• Prepare the endoscopy suite and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist physicians by handling instruments, managing specimens, and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Document details of the procedure accurately and timely in EMR.
• Post-procedure care: assess, discharge education, and documentation.
