Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is hiring an RN HOPS for Endoscopy at South Pointe Hospital. The position is a day shift (7:00am-5:30pm) with on-call requirements in Warrensville Hts, OH. You will perform pre/intra/post procedural nursing care, collaborate with gastroenterology specialists, and support patient education and safety.

Minimum qualifications include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, and 1 year RN (or 2 years LPN in the same department). BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within six months of hire.
• One year RN OR two years LPN experience in the same department.
• BSN preferred; two years RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre/intra & post procedural nursing care for Endoscopy patients.
• Assess patients, document findings and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Establish care plans with patients and families.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
