Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s South Pointe Hospital is seeking an RN to assist in Pre/Intra & Post Procedural care for patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures. You will interact with patients, families, and visitors, promoting education and compassionate care.

Minimum qualifications include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, and 1 year of RN experience (or 2 years LPN) in the department. On-site, days 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
• One year of recent RN experience OR two years of LPN experience in the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in hospital settings.
• Assess patients, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician or LIP.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
• Serve as charge nurse when required to ensure efficient operations.
