Job summary

Banner Health in Gilbert, Arizona, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Endoscopy department. The role involves nursing care for both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy procedures, with a focus on preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural patient care.

The department performs basic endoscopy, peg tube insertions, EUS, EBUS, ERCPs and TEEs. The position is full-time with Days shift (8A-6:30P), Monday to Friday, and on-call weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per policy and nursing practice standards.
• Formulate and revise care plans in collaboration with the patient/family and health team.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the health care team.
