Job summary

St. Luke's Health-The Vintage Hospital is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing, Texas RN licensure upon hire, and CPR with ACLS within specified timelines. The role emphasizes patient safety and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in TX required or upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• CPR certification (BLS) required within 14 days.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during stay; address physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Plan and document the care plan, including patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Prepare patients for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies; report changes promptly.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Provide clear bedside reports to oncoming shifts to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and comply with safety protocols.
