Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks an Endoscopy Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center to provide pre/post procedural care with the care team. The role focuses on patient safety, quality, and satisfaction, following Nevada Board of Nursing standards.

The position requires active RN license in Nevada, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months, plus strong documentation and clinical judgment in a fast-paced ASC setting.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and speaking proficient.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare preferred.
• Nevada RN license required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Functions independently as Pre/Post Procedural RN in ASC.
• Admits and discharges patients using standard protocols.
• Records patient history and assessments in the medical record.
• Starts saline lock and administers medications per MD.
• Educates patients and families on GI symptom management.
