Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care across adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The RN coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team, following the nursing process from assessment through evaluation.

Clinical responsibilities include delivering safe patient care and sustaining mandatory certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENLS/ENPC and TNCC within specified timelines, while maintaining strong communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN license in Nevada.
• State POCA license required within 120 days of hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/ENLS/ENPC/TNCC as department needs within specified timelines.
• Computer and typing skills to complete online learning and policy forms.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Coordinate care between physicians, nurses, and other professionals.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during episodes.
• Maintain required certifications within stated timeframes.

Education

Registered Nursing licensure (State of Nevada)

POCA license (within 120 days)

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

ACLS within required timelines

PALS within required timelines

NRP / ENLS / ENPC / TNCC certifications as required
