Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield is seeking an Endoscopy Technician I to perform reprocessing of reusable instruments and supplies in accordance with policy. You will help ensure patient safety through rigorous cleaning, documentation, and adherence to infection control standards.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work on 36 hours weekly across day/evening shifts, and collaboration with the Endoscopy team to maintain high-quality care. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred).
• Six months of Endoscope reprocessing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Disinfects and cleans endoscopy supplies and equipment per policy.
• Inspects cleanliness and functionality of instruments.
• Operates reprocessing equipment and documents processes.
• Maintains infection control practices with PPE and hand hygiene.
