Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to safely reprocess endoscopy equipment and maintain par levels of supplies for the Operating Room. This is a full-time, onsite role with a standard 40-hour work week in Hendersonville.

Responsibilities include leak testing, meticulous cleaning, scope drying, and routine ATP testing, with a requirement for Endoscopy Technician Certification (CRCST, CSPDT, CST) and BLS.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician Certification required (CRCST, CSPDT, CST)
• BLS certification required
• High school graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs pressure leak testing on endoscopes
• Cleans endoscopes per manufacturer instructions to remove bioburden
• Visual inspection of scopes and ATP testing as appropriate
• Prepares scope for high level disinfection in scope washing machine
• Ensures surfaces are dried before storage in scope drying cabinet
• Manages department supplies to ensure safe and efficient care
