Job summary

UNC Health Nash is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the operative and invasive procedures and maintain the endoscopy suite. You will reprocess and maintain endoscopes and related equipment, ensuring PAR levels and instrument readiness for daily procedures.

Responsibilities include scheduling, assisting MD and RN, patient care tasks, equipment prep, and adherence to UNC Infection Prevention policies. A strong team player with attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of relevant health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Clerical scheduling and supply stocking for endoscopy procedures.
• Assist MD and RN during endoscopic procedures and patient care.
• Reprocess and maintain endoscopes and related equipment per policy.
• Maintain logs and ensure instrument readiness for procedures.
