Job summary

Required is graduation from a Surgical Technology program or a high school diploma/GED, with BLS certification and at least 1 year of healthcare experience. Onsite, day shifts, full-time at NDH Endoscopy.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or High School diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant health care experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Clerical: schedules endoscopy procedures, handles receptionist duties, orders stock, prepares rooms and equipment, and runs errands.
• Clinical: assists MD and RN during procedures, handles equipment, assists with patient care, admissions/discharges, vital signs, and specimen handling.
• Professional Development: maintains BLS and completes Endoscopy Technician trainings and competencies.
• Technical: performs high-level disinfection (HLD) and reprocessing of endoscopes, maintains AERs and related equipment, and logs all actions as required.
