Job summary

York County Outpatient Endoscopy Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is hiring a Registered Nurse (PRN) in Rock Hill, SC. The RN will plan, direct, organize and implement nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients, ensuring high quality and safe delivery of care according to standards.

The role requires SC RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of hospital RN experience in M/S or ICU. GI experience is preferred and ACLS/PALS are considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active SC RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in hospital Medical/Surgical or ICU.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care in compliance with nursing, JCAHO, and Federal/State standards.
• Care for patients from 1 month to geriatric.

About the Opportunity

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
