Job summary

United Surgical Partners International in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Pre Screening Anesthesia Registered Nurse, full-time for our York County Outpatient Endoscopy Center. The RN will plan, coordinate and deliver nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients in a safe, compliant ambulatory setting.

Must have an active SC RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of relevant experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. GI experience is a plus, and candidates should be able to prioritize and communicate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year experience as Pre Screening Anesthesia RN.
• Active RN license in SC; BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred or included in education plan.
• GI experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre/post-surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe patient care while complying with nursing standards.
• Care for patients from 1 month to geriatric.

York County Outpatient Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre Screening Anesthesia Registered Nurse, Full time to join our team located in Rock Hill, SC.

About the Opportunity

The Pre Screening Anesthesia RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

About the Candidate

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year experience as a Pre Screening Anesthesia RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS certification.
• Current ACLS / PALS preferred or included in education plan.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• GI Experience preferred.
