Job summary

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS and within 3 months ACLS/PALS, and 1–2 years of progressive nursing experience. Strong communication and cultural sensitivity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• Current registered nurse license in good standing in the State of Texas.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 3 months of hire.
• 1–2 years of progressive nursing experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily practice.
• Administers and documents medications per hospital policy.
• Assists gastroenterology, anesthesiology, and other staff to ensure patient care.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates changes to the team.
• Ensures proper charting of medications and patient responses.
• Reports medication errors promptly and accurately.
• Coaches and guides less experienced staff as needed.
• Maintains infection control, safety, and risk management adherence.
