Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center is hiring an RN to utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. This role operates Monday–Friday with no call, weekends or holidays, and GI experience is preferred.

The RN will be responsible for maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, coordinating patient care with other departments, and evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Mercy emphasizes service standards and professional accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Must obtain/maintain RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
