Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process in the Pre-Op/PACU setting. You will coordinate care with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and operate under Mercy Service Standards.

Education requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state; BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Pre-OP/PACU experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Operates in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
