Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. You will coordinate care with other departments and evaluate care effectiveness for assigned patients.

Graduate of an accredited RN program with an active RN license (state or compact) is required; Pre Op/PACU experience is preferred, and the role supports 4 10's with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license required and must be maintained in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Pre Op/PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
