Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments in line with Mercy Service Standards. The role supports pre-op and PACU duties with preference given to applicants with pre-op/PACU experience; schedule is 4 tens with no weekends or holidays or on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain professional accountability and adhere to Mercy Service Standards.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
