Job summary

Mercy South Surgery Center is seeking an RN to provide care using the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and privacy. You will coordinate care with other departments and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Graduate from an accredited RN program with active Missouri compact licensure preferred; BLS certification required within 30 days of hire. Pre-Op/PACU experience helpful; 4 10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license required and maintained in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must meet state board of nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
