Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for Pre/Post in the Endoscopy Unit. This is a Full Time, Day shift with five 8-hour shifts from 6:45a to 4:15p, Monday to Friday. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available for qualified candidates, along with parking and education assistance.

Minimum RN degree required; BLS within 90 days and ACLS within 6 months of hire. BSN/MSN preferred and Endoscopy/procedural experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree in Registered Nursing is required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• BSN or MSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide competent pre/post nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit.
• Maintain patient safety and apply the nursing process across assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with GI physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
