Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital Endoscopy Unit is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for a full-time position. Work 36 hours weekly, with shifts starting as early as 6:30am, and a rotation that includes one weeknight, and occasional weekend call.

A generous sign-on bonus and relocation support are offered for qualified candidates. The unit is small and close-knit, with prep, procedure, and recovery areas, and a strong emphasis on patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent hospital experience.
• Endoscopy experience highly preferred.
• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
• RN License in good standing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver treatments and educate patients and families with compassion.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust care.
• Advocate for best patient outcomes and safety in line with evidence-based practices.
