Job summary

Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) in Monterey, CA is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for per diem shifts. You will prepare patients for procedures, assist in endoscopy, circulate, reprocess GI scopes, and recover post-procedure patients. Must be able to take call and report within 45 minutes.

You will orient new staff, precept students, and support a high standard of care across Surgical Services while adhering to hospital policies and patient safety principles.

Qualifications

• California RN license required.
• Endoscopy nursing experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and assist in endoscopy.
• Circulate in endoscopy procedures and reprocess GI scopes.
• Recover post-procedure patients and monitor for complications.
• Take call and report to hospital within 45 minutes.
