Job summary

Mercy Health – Warren, MI is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality perioperative care. You will lead patient assessments, support the surgical team, and ensure a safe environment across pre-, intra-, and post-operative stages.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, and relevant OR/critical care experience. Commitment to Mercy Health values and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BSL/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred at hire; may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and assist to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
