Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy at Kings Mills Hospital. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, work with the interdisciplinary team, and support pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to ensure safe patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, observing the surgical team, and coordinating care with other providers. Must have RN licensure and a nursing degree; experience in critical care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months as per department requirements.
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care preferred; OR internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe surgery and assist the team to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
