Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy at Kings Mills Hospital. The role focuses on delivering exceptional perioperative nursing care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

The RN will collaborate with the surgical team, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop care plans to improve outcomes while ensuring a safe operative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS or PALS certification preferred (not required).
• CNOR and SGNA certifications preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR setting.
• Observe the surgical team and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for the patient.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
