Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of Optum, seeks an RN to coordinate daily ASC Endoscopy operations in Houston. The role focuses on PACU/PreOp activities, staffing, policy adherence, and patient safety. Must hold TX RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days; 3+ years in PACU/PreOp/Endoscopy and pre-operative assessment experience are required.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree.
• Texas RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS within 90 days.
• 3+ years RN experience in PACU/PreOp/Endoscopy.
• Experience in pre-operative patient assessment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations of the ASC Endoscopy area (PACU/PreOp) per regulations and policies.
• Coordinate staffing, Policy/Procedure adherence, and educational activities.
• Promote Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Safety plans.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, supplies and controlled drugs.
• Maintain accurate medical record documentation.
