TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team in Murfreesboro, TN. The role involves evaluating patients preoperatively, educating families, and ensuring preparedness including IV therapy and medication administration.

You will participate in surgical site verification and work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Requirements include an RN license, Associate Degree, and ACLS/BLS certifications or

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license/registration required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience required.
• Call is required for this role with a 30-minute response time.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education regarding the procedure and perioperative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and deliver high-quality nursing care.
