Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy Department. The role involves comprehensive patient care across pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery stages, with sedation-related tasks and safe patient transport.

You will collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, and endoscopy technicians to maintain efficient workflows and quality care. Strong teamwork, communication, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ medical/surgical experience, outpatient and GI nursing preferred
• Current MA RN license
• BLS and ACLS required with American Heart Association
• Current IV skills preferred
• Previous Endoscopy or critical care experience required

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient care across pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery phases
• Safely assisting and transporting patients, including those under sedation
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure smooth workflows
• Leading and supporting an Endoscopy Technician, including delegating tasks as needed
• Communicating clearly, accepting feedback, and contributing positively to team goals
