Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment; online certification not acceptable.
- ACLS as required by facility.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of surgical and GI procedures and oversee instrument and equipment set‑up.
- Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
- Facilitate effective and efficient transition between procedures.
Skills
Knowledge of surgical and GI procedures
Experience in an operating room setting
Valid BCLS Certification
ACLS certification
Education
Nursing Diploma
RN license
CNOR / SGNA certification
