Job summary

Parkside GI Surgicenter, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is hiring a Registered Endoscopy Nurse (PRN) to support GI and surgical patients in the intra-operative period. You will apply nursing processes to plan, execute, and evaluate care, ensuring patient safety from entry to transfer to recovery.

The role includes circulating or scrub duties across age groups. You will oversee instrument setups, coordinate the room as the circulating nurse, and help ensure smooth transitions between

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience; ambulatory center preferred.
• RN license required or compact license.
• BCLS certification at employment; online is not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR/SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for GI procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee the room as the circulator during cases.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between procedures.
• Maintain and update preference cards as needed.
