Job summary

Austin Endoscopy Center - North, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Endoscopy Nurse to support intraoperative care for surgical and GI patients.

You will function as circulator or scrub, oversee room setup, and ensure a safe, efficient transition between procedures with mentorship and ongoing education available.

RN license, BCLS, ACLS as required, CNOR/SGNA preferred; two years OR experience in ambulatory settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
• RN license required or appropriate compact licensure
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility
• CNOR / SGNA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical and GI procedures and oversee instrument and equipment setup
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between procedures
• Utilize preference cards and update them as necessary
