UPMC Specialty Care York Endoscopy is seeking a dedicated Professional Staff Nurse, BSN to join our team in York, PA. This full-time day-shift role offers a consistent schedule with no weekends or holidays, focusing on outpatient endoscopy procedures such as EGDs and colonoscopies.

You will circulate in the procedure room, provide pre- and post-procedure care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally by demonstrating accountability for actions, enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and applies in teaching of patients and families to guide care and transitions.
• Applies the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment and plan of care for patients.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts and supports changes to improve patient safety and care quality.
