SLEEP RX LLC is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse in Highland Park, IL to support patients through pre-procedure, procedure, and recovery phases. You will work with physicians and care teams, monitor patient status, and deliver attentive care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with strong assessment, medication administration, documentation, and communication skills. Endoscopy or ACS/ICU experience is a plus, and familiarity with Epic or Cerner is valued.

Qualificações

• Current registered nurse licensure and strong patient assessment, medication administration, medical documentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Endoscopy, outpatient, ambulatory surgery center, acute care, emergency room, ICU, or medical-surgical experience.
• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or other EHR systems; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, HIPAA, and basic life support (BLS) is valued.
• Additional relevant experience may include IV insertion, catheter care, triage, telemetry, infection control, or working in a hospital or clinic.
• Other nursing backgrounds may also be relevant.

Endoscopy Nurse Job Overview

As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you'll help patients prepare for, undergo, and recover from endoscopic procedures. You'll coordinate with physicians and the care team, monitor patient status, and deliver attentive care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Endoscopy Nurse Duties

• Assess patients, review medical history, obtain vital signs, and document care in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Administer medications and intravenous (IV) infusions as ordered; monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.

Endoscopy Nurse Experience

• Required: Current registered nurse licensure and strong patient assessment, medication administration, medical documentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Endoscopy, outpatient, ambulatory surgery center, acute care, emergency room, intensive care unit (ICU), or medical-surgical experience.
• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or other EHR systems; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, HIPAA, and basic life support (BLS) is valued.
• Additional relevant experience may include IV insertion, catheter care, triage, telemetry, infection control, or working in a hospital or clinic.
• Other nursing backgrounds- including dialysis, geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice and palliative medicine, and long-term care- may also be relevant.
